Employment History and Skills :
I started my career as an Art teacher in Bal Kalyan Sanstha, Pune in 1983. Bal Kalyan Sanstha is a recreation and cultural center for differently able children. I helped the children to recognize their creative channels and also enhance them.
I was later appointed as Manager of Bal Kalyan Sanstha in 2005 till 2013. After that I was appointed as Executive Officer till September 2016, and since then I have started various Vocational courses like embroidery, waste reuse, silk hand painting, pottery, flower arrangement etc. I always wanted to break the clichéd income opportunities for the differently able people and hence came up with these Vocational courses which helped them to be in par with the world’s need. With the help of these courses over 50 differently able youths were self employed or they have obtained a job.

Mr. K Chandrashekar

Mr. K. Chandrasekhar is a B. Tech from IIT, Madras. He joined Tata Motors in 1974 as a graduate engineer trainee. His experience of more than 36 years covers the range of Automotive Manufacturing Practices - from foundries (grey/nodular iron and aluminium), vendor development and supplier quality, machine shops (engine and transmissions) & press shops to vehicle assembly and testing.
Apart from technical competencies in the above-mentioned areas, he has proven capabilities in resource management and leadership development. He has effectively handled over 300 engineers and staff. He was also responsible for implementation of the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) for the enterprise processes.
He superannuated in June 2011 as Quality Head (CVBU-Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors Pune).
He is currently Senior Technical Advisor,UDAY PRIDE -UNIDO-DHI-ACMAYoj,a partnership Program for upgradation of small and medium-sized automotive component manufacturers in India. This program assists in facilitating their inclusion into national, regional and global supply chains.
It also helps meeting relevant supply chain requirements with regard to quality, cost, and delivery, energy efficiency and environmental management standards.
He headed a delegation of ACMA counsellors to Toyota, Japan to get a first-hand idea of the “Toyota Production System” and how this is extended to suppliers to Toyota.

Dr. Anand Pandit, Senior most Pediatrician in KEM Hospital, Pune since 1973. A visionary leader and pioneer who converted the four bedded Pediatric Unit to a 100 bedded department setup the first NICU in Maharashtra and first PICU in Pune. Currently we have a Level III ten bedded PICU and 40 bedded Level III NICU.
The first ever multidisciplinary rehabilitation Centre for specially abled children was set up in the year 1979.
He has been a Professor and Director, Department of Pediatrics since its inception and has trained more than 200 postgraduates who are placed all over the world.
He has been awarded life time achievement awards in Neonatology, Pediatrics as well as Research in Child Health.
He has more than 100 publications in national and international pediatric journals.

After acquiring his MD in paediatrics in India he was selected by Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health, London in 2003 for higher training in the UK. Returned to India in 2014 and started working in Pune since 2015 onwards as In charge of Paediatric Intensive care unit at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital. Mrs Sangeeta Bhandari established Nirmaan Education Center, a center dedicated for the development of special children, in the year 2002.However, her journey for such a center started much earlier when it was diagnosed that her son Nikhilesh is Autistic.
From personal experience she knew that parents of Autistic children are the most important care providers, thus she started Nirmaan with
the sole object of improving the quality of life of children with various disabilities.
A diploma in Home science from SNDT, Mumbai, her quest for getting the right type of therapies for her son has led her to participate and enroll in a number of courses related to special children.
